promo update

Just a little update on how my promo went for THE COMING OF DARK on August 9th and 10th.

I submitted my book to nearly 20 sites a couple of weeks in advance.  All were free sites.  A couple of sites required at least 5 reviews and a minimum of a 4 star review.  Luckily I had the minimum.  Also, on the first free day I submitted my title to several facebook accounts.

The result:  I had 750 downloads in the two days, two 5 star reviews, and several messages telling me how much they liked the book.  In all I think a decent promo.  Not as good as some that I’ve heard of.  Maybe next time.

The end result:  In the next two weeks I saw a rise in paid sales.  That was great!  But now they have settled back down to where they were.  I’ll have to work on that.
