 Just a little update on how my promo went for THE COMING OF DARK on August 9th and 10th.
I submitted my book to nearly 20 sites a couple of weeks in advance. All were free sites. A couple of sites required at least 5 reviews and a minimum of a 4 star review. Luckily I had the minimum. Also, on the first free day I submitted my title to several facebook accounts. The result: I had 750 downloads in the two days, two 5 star reviews, and several messages telling me how much they liked the book. In all I think a decent promo. Not as good as some that I’ve heard of. Maybe next time. The end result: In the next two weeks I saw a rise in paid sales. That was great! But now they have settled back down to where they were. I’ll have to work on that.

My last giveaway for my ebook “The coming of dark” was a productive one. After the giveaway I received one review, which was a five star, as well as a rise in my book sales. The sales were not enough to make me rich, but it sure did make me feel good to know that a few people out there must have liked my book well enough to recommend it to others.
